Initial thoughts on the Yes Kundalini Watch

Just started using my new Yes Kundalini watch and it's fantastic! Interesting to see the moon phases and rise/set times change throughout the week and the sun rise and set times as well. Additionally it can do a virtual world tour past, present and future to review this data. I've got the black symbol version which looks the business IMHO. Takes a while to get used to the single hour hand on the 24 hour dial (especially with my rubbish eyesight!) however the hours are also indicated by alternating grey and white sections. i.e. odd hours are in the grey sections and even in white. Therefore with the symbols I can determine the approximate time (+-10mins) quite easily without using the digital readout (which can be turned off). I could have chosen the 24 hours bezel but thought that looked a bit cluttered whereas the symbols add an extra weird factor to the design! My wife thinks I'm mad getting a one handed watch! Fortunately this means I have to show it to everyone when in her company and the typical feedback is of positive fascination (especially from blokes and kids).

I originally purchased the Yes Tati watch however realised this is designed predominately for ladies and looked too small on my wrist. When returning the Tati I fortunately got access to inspect the entire Yes collection. In comparison the Kundalini watch is slightly bigger in diameter than Yes Cozmo however the Cozmo is deeper and very cylindrical in shape making it look larger on the wrist and like something a Jules Verne character would wear! The Zulu, Inca and Kundalini appear to be the same watch apart from the bezel design. The silver finish is very bright and reflective, some may prefer this but the black looks less flashy, more sleek and professional. The black alternating matte and shiny segments in the strap add to the look. I'm really pleased with the Kundalini it is a unique and brilliant timepiece.
